Antoinette Poisson has rekindled an 18th-century tradition with its hand block-printed domino papers. The patterns are original designs, brought up to date with modern colourways. They have recently been used in collaborations with Gucci and Dior. These unique framed prints are striking on their own, but add real French flair when hung in groups.
Struggling to find what they were looking for, the trio set up Antoinette Poisson in 2012, with the aim of bringing forgotten 18th-century wallpaper techniques back to life. The label was named after Louis XV’s mistress Madame de Pompadour, adopting the middle and maiden names of the 18th-century doyenne of decorative arts.Visit Designer Page
