Naomi Paul's shades are hand crocheted in her east London studio by artisan craftswomen using Egyptian mercerised cotton yarn to give a sculptural character whilst appearing soft and delicate. The perforated crocheted finish allows light to escape, creating a pleasant ambient glow. This shallow, wide-brimmed shade is perfect for dining table lighting.

About Naomi Paul
After studying at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts, Naomi worked for the designer Sid Bryan, who “gave me a crash course in industrial knitting.” In 2009, she established her company; she now works in a studio on an east London nature reserve.
