Naomi Paul's shades are hand crocheted in her London studio by artisan craftswomen using mercerized cotton cord yarn, specially developed to give a sculptural character whilst appearing soft and delicate. The perforated crocheted finish allows light to escape, creating an ambient glow. This tiered architectural pendant makes a dramatic statement.

About Naomi Paul
After studying at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts, Naomi worked for the designer Sid Bryan, who “gave me a crash course in industrial knitting.” In 2009, she established her company; she now works in a studio on an east London nature reserve.
