Naomi Paul's shades are hand crocheted in her east London studio by artisan craftswomen using mercerized cotton cord yarn, developed in to two ply by Naomi in her London studio to give a sculptural character whilst appearing soft and delicate. The perforated crocheted finish allows light to escape, creating an ambient glow.

About Naomi Paul
After studying at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts, Naomi worked for the designer Sid Bryan, who “gave me a crash course in industrial knitting.” In 2009, she established her company; she now works in a studio on an east London nature reserve.
