Sia Taylor's jewellery is meticulously hand crafted in her studio tucked away in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside. Her inspiration is the delicate forms of nature – insects and seed heads, light glancing off raindrops, the wind in the leaves – and the jewellery she creates is ethereal and elegant. This necklace features handcut golden raindrops arranged at random points along the length of a fine gold chain. Each necklace is unique as every handcut raindrop is subtly different.
Sia Taylor started her creative life as a sculptor, but couldn’t escape the feeling that she was working to the wrong scale. “I wanted to create more intricate, delicate pieces,” she explains. Whilst completing her Masters in Sculpture at London’s prestigious Royal College of Art, Sia began taking jewellery classes.
