Sia Taylor trained as a sculptor before falling for the intricate craft of jewellery making. She takes her inspiration from nature – seeds, raindrops, the play of sun and shadow. These earrings feature clusters of handmade yellow gold dots which softly reflect the light. Stunning on their own or as a set with one of Sia's gold dot necklaces.
18k gold requires very little maintenance, but in order to stop the jewellery from losing its lustre, it is recommended to avoid contact with body creams and perfume where possible.
Sia Taylor started her creative life as a sculptor, but couldn’t escape the feeling that she was working to the wrong scale. “I wanted to create more intricate, delicate pieces,” she explains. Whilst completing her Masters in Sculpture at London’s prestigious Royal College of Art, Sia began taking jewellery classes.Visit Designer Page
"Gold is a material that lasts, I wanted to pay it the respect it deserves – working it slowly and carefully, making jewellery to be cherished and, hopefully, to be passed on.”
