Danish brand Kinraden was born out of a desire to couple luxurious design with ethical values. This recycled sterling silver bracelet is set with a black, brilliant-cut Mpingo 'diamond'. These signature pieces are made from precious leftover wood from classical clarinet manufacture, sourced in WWF-protected parks in Tanzania, and cut to a velvety lustre in the hands of skilled diamond cutters. Worn next to the skin, they will grow ever more gorgeous in time.
Sarah Müllertz, the Danish architect and former partner at Hennings Larsen doesn’t recall the moment she decided she was going to become a jeweller. Launching Kinraden, a jewellery brand which explores a minimalist aesthetic, sprang from a growing curiosity to explore another design medium and the opportunity to work with different materials — in this instance, black Mpingo heartwood “diamonds” from certified forests, and recycled gold and silver — a way to challenge the jewellery business.Visit Designer Page
