Naomi Paul's shades are hand crocheted in her east London studio by artisan craftswomen, using the highest quality British wool for her Simple Shade 04. The perforated crocheted finish allows light to escape, producing an ambient glow, while gently illuminating the wool fibres, creating the appearance of delicate porcelain.

About Naomi Paul
After studying at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Arts, Naomi worked for the designer Sid Bryan, who “gave me a crash course in industrial knitting.” In 2009, she established her company; she now works in a studio on an east London nature reserve.
