Nancy Nicholson weaves exquisite textiles in her light and calm Devon studio, using heritage wool from rare-breed sheep. She developed the Hilda pattern to showcase the qualities of the soft and strong Cumbrian Rough Fell yarn that she has developed, with a rolling texture of looped woollen pile. It is a design that murmurs of the rhythms of nature – the patter of raindrops, the scatter of corn – and is an understated and sophisticated addition to the home.
