Nancy Nicholson weaves exquisite textiles in her light-filled studio in south-west England, using heritage wool from rare-breed sheep. She developed the Hilda pattern to showcase the qualities of the soft and strong Cumbrian Rough Fell yarn that she has developed. The woven panel is mounted onto a frame of terracotta linen to off-set the pure cream of the undyed wool. The result is a strong design that adds a natural and understated elegance to any interior.
