Arielle de Gasquet's pieces exhibit a purity of line that is borrowed from the Japanese ceramic tradition. To this she adds a palette of contemporary glazes. This serving bowl has a deep navy blue matte glaze, finished with a contrasting trim of pure white. A classic colourway that is crisp and stylish.
It was while living in New York a decade ago that Parisian, Arielle de Gasquet fell into ceramics – “you could say that ceramics found me”.
