Named after a ‘little song’ or ‘melody’, this delightfully unique pattern is full of detail and movement, like a dance. Inspired by fragments of eighteenth-century fabrics from the archives, and crafted with techniques from the Age of Enlightenment, it evokes the lively interior spaces of society life. This wallpaper will bring a subtle warmth and bonhomie to any room or hallway.
To apply wallpaper, choose a special non-woven glue and glue the wall directly with a special brush. For the maintenance of your wallpaper, we recommend you to delicately wipe it with a damp cloth.
Struggling to find what they were looking for, the trio set up Antoinette Poisson in 2012, with the aim of bringing forgotten 18th-century wallpaper techniques back to life. The label was named after Louis XV’s mistress Madame de Pompadour, adopting the middle and maiden names of the 18th-century doyenne of decorative arts.
