Studio Pottery at the V&A Museum, London
A new display at the V&A explores how the history of the V&A - which has the most comprehensive collection of ceramics in the world – and the discipline of studio pottery are so closely intertwined. The V&A started acquiring pots for its collection right from the beginning of the studio pottery movement - with its first purchase being a blue-glazed vase made by London potter Dora Lunn 1919. This fascinating display brings together the best of the collection – from the early 20th century to the present day.
