Cube Bowl - Small

Danish artist maker Ane Christensen takes inspiration from seeing how opposing pieces might fit together and exploring the play between harmony and friction.The hollow brass base of this piece, waxed with a verdigris patina is constructed from a spun form with a fitted lid and has a subtle satin finish. The cube is constructed from wire and soldered onto the base then sand blasted, patinated and waxed by Christensen creating a smooth tension and a pleasing form on which the eye can rest.
