Traditional incense sticks made by one of the few traditional incense makers in Kyoto, Japan, who also provide incense for the local Buddhist temples and monasteries. Each stick of incense is rolled by hand and made without using dyes, chemicals or additives. Ash is dominant, with notes of cedar wood, sandalwood and frankincense fused with birch and cade oil.
The raw materials that go into Harris' candles and scents are sourced from around the world and combined in her shop-cum-laboratory in Marylebone, London, utilising skills learned under the legendary Monique Schlienger in Paris, before spending five years at fragrance house Robertet in Grasse.
