Antoinette Poisson – named after Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, the Marquise de Pompadour – celebrates the interior decorations of the 18th century. This welcoming wallpaper is a tribute to the exuberance of that age. It features a lively pattern of flowers, nuts and berries, inspired by fragments of fabrics from the archives. It is ideal for spaces that welcome conversation.
Washable at 30°C.
Struggling to find what they were looking for, the trio set up Antoinette Poisson in 2012, with the aim of bringing forgotten 18th-century wallpaper techniques back to life. The label was named after Louis XV’s mistress Madame de Pompadour, adopting the middle and maiden names of the 18th-century doyenne of decorative arts.
