A Match Made in Paris
Antoinette Poisson is a Parisian studio born out of a passion for the interiors of the 18th century. The creative duo behind the brand – Vincent Farelly & Jean-Baptiste Martin – were originally inspired to recreate the Domino Papers from that period in order to furnish contemporary walls, and their collection has grown to include wallpapers, fabrics and homewares.
Ruth Ribeaucourt is an ardent collector of decorative prints and fabrics, and together, the three have crafted a collection based on favourite pieces from her archives – with provenances ranging from Bordeaux and Provence to India. It is a collection that is the result of a shared delight in the history of interiors – with designs that include intricate floral motifs as well as bold stripes and checks. The designs are rooted in a flamboyant and decadent past but will look beautifully at ease in modern homes.
