A radical photography show, courtesy of Sir Elton
This winter, Tate Modern offers a rare and well-curated peek into the photography collection of Elton John. Expect remarkable modernist work spanning the 1920s to the 1950s, including images by Man Ray, André Kertész and Tina Modotti. During the period in question, pioneers were establishing photography as an art form, boldly experimenting with abstract, surreal composition and unconventional techniques.
'The Radical Eye: Modernist Photography From The Sir Elton John Collection' runs at Tate Modern until 7 May 2017.
