"Founder of the best-looking craft website is Anna Garner, whose CV includes stints at American Vogue and Vanity Fair, and as fashion director at the US retailer Henri Bendel. “What everyone is searching for is authenticity, something real in a world of smoke and mirrors,” she says.
She launched the Garnered, featuring more than 30 international makers, late last year to nurture talented artisans. “I’d like to do something to support these skills and make sure they don’t die out.” Her genius is spotting the pieces we would love to take home — hand-blown crystal, crocheted lights — and collaborating with their makers through pictures and interviews to showcase what makes their work so special."
