Antoinette Poisson – named after Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, the Marquise de Pompadour – celebrates the interior decorations of the 18th century. This wallpaper is a tribute to the exuberance of 18th-century interior design. It features a lively pattern of flowers, nuts and berries, inspired by fragments of fabrics from the archives, and is ideal for spaces that welcome conversation. It is available in three rich colours.
To apply wallpaper, choose a special non-woven glue and glue the wall directly with a special brush. For the maintenance of your wallpaper, we recommend you to delicately wipe it with a damp cloth.
Struggling to find what they were looking for, the trio set up Antoinette Poisson in 2012, with the aim of bringing forgotten 18th-century wallpaper techniques back to life. The label was named after Louis XV’s mistress Madame de Pompadour, adopting the middle and maiden names of the 18th-century doyenne of decorative arts.
