Medium Charcoal Lines Vessel #2

Boston-based ceramicist Lauren Nauman trained at the RCA in London where she developed her ideas for her Lines collection. Using slip-cast and plaster moulds, she creates straight-sided, cage-like cylinders which, once in the kiln, shift and move in the heat. The resulting pieces hint of fluidity and dance. Each piece is unique. Best placed near a source of light to highlight the shadow patterns, they look wonderful in a group.
